Master’s Student MSc Candidate in Aerospace Engineering

Nanjing University

Wang Xia is a second-year master’s student at NJU AeroSafe Laboratory. She completed her undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology with honors. Her current research focuses on developing advanced vibration analysis algorithms for aircraft engine health monitoring.

Under the supervision of Prof. Zhang Wei, Wang is working on a project that involves real-time signal processing of engine vibration data to detect early signs of component wear. She has developed several MATLAB and Python tools for data analysis and visualization. Wang is also actively involved in the lab’s experimental setup and data collection activities.
